Features

Rental rates vary by room selection, the time of day, and time of the week. 

The Wellington can accommodate almost any size of gathering with varying sizes of rooms available.  The maximum capacity is 650; however, this number is dependent upon numerous factors, including room configuration and event specifications.  Please see our floor plan. Our staff is well-versed and helpful in determining the best room configuration for your specific needs.

For all events, a final meeting is scheduled to discuss details such as linen choice, room set-up, timeline, contact person, and other essential elements to ensure the best service and orchestration of your event.

Table Linens are included in the base rental. We also have upgrades available for an additional charge.

 

 

Rental Information is available in greater detail within our information packet.  Functions are planned for up to 6 hours; additional hours will require supplemental labor charges.  To reserve a date, a 50% non-refundable deposit is due upon signing the contract.  The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to the actual event date.

 

Payments can be made via cash, check, or credit card.  We accept all major credit cards. 

 

Food and Beverage are two areas of great flexibility.  These are our options from which to choose:

  1. Outside caterers are allowed.  A copy of their caterer's permit, insurance, and a signed Kitchen Policy Agreement must be on file by the final meeting date.
  2. Wellington can assist you in your food needs.  A consultation discussing elements such as service style, presentation, type of food, meal type, and place settings.  A customized menu will be developed, a price per plate set, and minimum agreed upon. All catering will be assessed an 18% service charge.

Alcohol is allowed at the Wellington.  A TABC-certified bartender provided by the Wellington must serve all alcohol.  The bartender must be on duty the entire duration alcohol is being served.  The Wellington will arrange this for $25 an hour per bartender.  Security is also required when alcohol is being served.  The Wellington will arrange this as well for $30 per hour per off-duty police officer.  One officer per 150 guests is required.

If it is a cash bar, it must be facilitated by a vendor with a traveling liquor license such as Iron Horse Pub, as mandated by TABC.  We can help arrange this for you.

Equipment

 

LED Lights are the colored uplights that cast color onto the walls. We have the ability to provide an amazing addition to your event.  The rate is $50 per light.

Pinspots can be used to make your specialty tables really shine! Show off your cakes, first entrance and those special moments that you want to make unforgettable. Each pinspot is $50 per light.

Monogrammed Spotlighting is available to you as well. Get your custom logo printed to shine onto your dancefloor for $250.
